Nottingham Forest Update

A closer look at this passion filled club
“Awoniyiiiiiii!!!!!!” Taiwo Micheal Awoniyi is Nottingham Forests number 9. He is a player you can always count on for a goal when it matters. Awoniyi became the first player since 1995 to score in four straight Premier League games for Forest.

Nottingham Forest has had an exciting start to their second season back in the Premier League. They are currently sitting at 13th in the table. Although this isn’t spectacular, it could be worse. Forest isn’t thinking about relegation at the moment. Instead, they are looking forward and hoping for a top-half finish in the Premier League table.

The start of the season has been somewhat smooth and uneventful for Forest. They have been clear of relegation for quite some time. As time has gone on, they have found their form and haven’t looked back. They are now on their way to a mid-table finish, which would have pleased any fan if you told them so at the beginning of the campaign.

Nottingham have brought in the most signings of any club this season. They’ve almost matched their Premier League record. Forest players seem to have merged and are starting to play like a team. This has largely contributed to their recent success.

Forest are excited about some of their new signings. Murillo Santiago Costa dos Santos is Nottingham’s most exciting signing at the moment. He has played a massive role in the recent success of Forest. His defensive acumen and ball playing abilities have been second to none as of yet. The new talent doesn’t stop there. Forest have an exciting new midfield duo in Ibrahim Sangare and Nicolas Dominguez. These two have been crucial in anchoring this young squad. They already seem to have excellent chemistry together.

One of the greatest three players of all time Murillo Santiago Costa dos Santos. “Maradona, Messi, Murillo”. Murillo is a ball playing center back that could turn into a generational talent. He could be Forest’s next star boy.
Pictured is Orel Johnson Mangala. He is a Belgian footballer who is adapting to the Premier League quite nicely. Mangala always does well to control the midfield for Nottingham Forest.

As Forest look forward, their upcoming two matches look like very tough games. They play a 12th and 7th place team. They play West Ham United, who are just one place above Forest in the table. They also play Brighton, who are well above Forest. Forest could use these points as we are transitioning into mid-season. If Forest could manage three points from these two matches, they would be very pleased. Every match matters and upset wins against big clubs can be the difference between a good season and a great season.

Forest have played 11 of their 38 matches. As they look forward, there is still much to play for. The league is exciting this season, as some of the big clubs are showing up. Anything can happen on any given week. This has likely been the most exciting season yet.
