“Travel is like an endless university. You never stop learning.” (Lloyd, Harvey) For if that quote by Harvey Lloyd was not true, the world would be contained with isolated humans buried in their sorrows, and be locked away in their homes. Traveling is something people should take advantage of while it lasts. According to one of the top three traveling websites, Travel and Leisure; the top twenty places that most people visit yearly include the Statue of Liberty located on Liberty Island in New York City, Eiffel Tower in Paris, and the Great Wall of China. (Travel and Leisure 2016) Landmarks like these are not only being remembered for their history, but also the memories they bring the many visitors every year.

Ever had or heard someone ever say, “Travel while you’re still young and able to?” Many people never take time to take advantage of opportunities to travel. It’s easy for an individual to get shut in and easily distracted by their adult responsibilities, and causing them to live a more stressed, less fun, able life. It is understandable, of course; what happens when youth is spent in nothing but hard work, and there is nothing left but to wait for days to pass? Travel is there for a purpose, many of us are not taking chances on making new memories, in which would be fortify us in the years to come.

According to Senior Chelsea Worley, “Traveling is like going away from reality and my problems for a certain time. It is like taking a trip and not coming back. You feel nothing but peace. I like to travel every once and while, but when I do I like to make new memories with my boyfriend and for myself. I tend to take advantage of the time I have away from society to clear my mind and try to find plenty of closure in visiting new places.”

“To travel is like you lose a sight of things and everything just balances out.” says Senior Joselyne Luna.  “Traveling the world is like the best feeling ever. Just to know you’re enjoying time doing the thing you love the most is just pure happiness to me. The different types of foods are what get to me the most of all the traveling.”

The world is just too beautiful to not to explore. I believe travel becomes a strategy to disappear from society’s radar, and just go international. If you were to pay me to travel from now till my end of days, I would become the happiest woman on the earth. It’s amazing what the world’s nature and landmarks can provide for an individual. It just takes the perfect timing to make it happen.” Travel shouldn’t be taken for granted. Let the fun begin, make it a memorable trip, and come back with pictures to display as evidence of good spirits and enjoyment.
