Many movies have come out recently including: Trolls and The Hunger Games, but that doesn’t always mean they were good. In this article, I will be summarizing each movie and giving my opinion on what I think about them.

Trolls

Trolls begins in a wedding scene, then a random troll shows up. He claims he’s branches’ long lost brother and that he needs to come with him to go save his other brother who is trapped in diamonds. They all end up leaving the wedding and set off to collect the other two brothers before saving the last one. On this journey, they meet the families of the lost brothers and find out what they have been doing since they left home.

One brother is in charge of finances for a golf course along with another pink troll who we come to find out is poppys long lost sister. The sister try’s to trap them in, but they end up escaping. They go to find their brother but they all get captured (except branch and poppy) and used for their magic. There’s a wild goose chase and they eventually end up getting all the brothers back and completing the perfect harmony to break the diamond.

My review on this movie was that it was actually pretty good. All the actors/actresses and singers were incredibly talented and the graphics were great as well. I thought that the movie didn’t have much correlation to the one before it, Trolls World Tour, but the storyline was consecutive and very well put together overall. I would give it a 6-7/10.

Hunger games

The games start with snow and give us details into his life before the games. We figure out each student has been given a tribute to mentor in the games and snow has a girl from district 12, said to be the runt of the group. This girl ends up being Lucy Grey Baird, a singer in the local pub who has an attachment to snakes. She competes in the hunger games with her mentor, Coriolanus Snow, and they eventually end up winning the games (even though they cheated) Due to the cheating, Snow was sent away to work for the guard in district 12 along with his friend Sejanus. He reunites with Lucy Grey, but he goes crazy, sending a jabberjay that leads to his friends hanging, shoots two people, but then decides he wants to escape into the woods with Lucy Grey to live his life in peace. They get to the cabin and Lucy Grey goes to pick some katniss, snow soon realizing she has run away. He starts shooting at everything that moves and trying to find Lucy Grey but has no luck. In the end, she disappears and nobody knows what happened to her, though there are many guesses on what did happen.

Review: I thought that this movie was great! I never read the book before hand so I’m not too sure how similar they were, but I was a bit worried that this movie wouldn’t look good compared to the others in the series but it ended up being really good. There was a lot of twists and things that I didn’t expect to happen, as well as some things that I predict would happen awhile ago. It kept my attention, the actors/actresses really took the role of their characters, and the cgi and makeup was almost seamless. Overall, I would give this movie a 8/10.
