Nottingham Forest have had an exciting start to their second season back in the Premier League. They are currently sitting at 9th in the table. Although this isn’t spectacular, it could definitely be worse. They are definitely feeling good about their relegation chances.

The start to the season has been somewhat smooth for Forest. They have been clear of relegation for quite some time. As time has gone on, they have found their form and haven’t looked back. They are now on their way to a mid-table finish, which would have excited any fan if you told them so at the beginning of the campaign.

Nottingham have brought in the most signings of any club this season. They’ve almost matched their Premier League record. Forest players seem to have merged together and are starting to play like a team. This has largely contributed to their recent success.

Forest are also looking forward to players returning from injury. Felipe has recently returned to training after his season long injury. Danillo and Mckenna are also almost back. These are players that could fill a starting role and raise the level for Forest.

Although they have newfound success and confidence, they have a tall task ahead. This week they will be facing a greatly feared opponent (Burnley F.C.). In their last clash Forest had a disappointing 1-0 loss. That said, Forest are a team filled with great passion.

A rival club, Manchester City are currently going through a lot right now. They’ve been charged with over 100 breaches of financial rules. The rules state that you can only spend money that you bring in, to a certain extent. Allegedly, city made fake sponsors to have it appear that they brought in more money than they really did. This allowed them to spend more money, which obviously isn’t allowed. They are looking at possible relegation and definite financial consequences. Forest are hoping that this will throw them off their game.

As Forest look forward, their upcoming two matches look like challenging games. They play two solid sides. They play a 1st and 8th place team. They play Man City, who are always an extremely strong side. They also play Brentford, who are really just a solid side. They need these early-season points, as every game is significant.

Forest have played 4 of their 38 matches. As they look forward, there is still much to play for. The league is exciting this season, as some of the big clubs are showing up. Anything can happen on any given week. This has likely been the most exciting season yet.
