The 36 year old actress has been in a relationship with the rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), age 32, since June 2020. After a night at Drake’s Super Bowl party on the night of February 12th, Megan went on to remove all traces of Machine Gun Kelly from her Instagram, unfollowed him, then went on to delete her account altogether after spams of fans blew up her account.

Megan has been known for sharing her personal life all throughout Instagram. She has been seen to share  to her fans on Instagram earlier Saturday that she had both a ‘broken wrist’ on her right arm and also a ‘concussion.’ While going to the Grammys to support MGK she chose to not wear a brace on her right arm. Megan hasn’t revealed any further information about the incident that caused the injuries, but was spotted wearing a hot pink brace on her right wrist as she posed inside the venue.

The relationship began after Megan broke up with Austin Green in a 15 yea relationship and a 10 year marriage. Where she had three sons Bodhi, Noah, Journey Green with an agreed  joint legal and physical custody of the three children. The marriage had been an open relationship until they finalized their divorce officially about two years after they split. MGK and Megan were seen as only friends in March of 2020 until further announced as on twitter by MGK “I’m calling you my girlfriend, what the f-ck”. They then were seen showing PDA (public display of affection) on her Instagram with posts of kissing and cuddling. They got engaged in January of 2022 with a emerald and diamond ring  symbolizing her birth stone. Just a month after the couple decided to star planning their wedding. In may of the same year they showed their commitment to each other by getting matching voodoo doll tattoos.

The relationship took a turn when in a Hulu documentary, Life in Pink, MGK said that while in a relationship with Megan he attempted a suicide in his room with a shotgun in his mouth while on the phone with Megan and pulled the trigger, but the gun was jammed. Megan’s reaction was dead silent and said that she had started to see him as her father instead of future husband.

Tschinkel goes on to say that in August of 2022 MGK as his wife at a concert in Cleveland and began to say they are still planning their wedding date. With everything looking to be going well and MGK repeatedly publicly announcing how much Megan has impacted his life and inspired him to be better.

The reason why the couple has been announced to be split has not yet been revealed. All that we have to lead us on is Megan writing on her story on Instagram she wrote, “taste the dishonesty” which is inspired by popular lyrics from Beyonce’s iconic music video ‘Pray You Catch Me’. According to Tschinkel Kelly was supposedly believed to have cheated on Megan and she said that she was tired of being used and lied to.
