  • A: “I’m not from anywhere, my family was military”
  • How long have you been teaching, and how long at LHS?
  • A: 1st year at LHS, 4th year teaching.
  • What subject(s) do you teach?
  • A: English, and Journalism
  • Why did you become a teacher?
  • A: I have always wanted to be a teacher, but I took the long way to be here and focused on my family first.
  • Why did you come to LHS?
  • A: I love Lafayette, I believe that it is the perfect representation of culture in society.
  • What do you love about your job?
  • A: I have always loved the English language, so I like to teach people to speak properly and learn to read.
  • If you could meet anyone from any time in the past, who would you choose and why?
  • A: if I could go back to meet anybody I would go talk to my grandma because Gloria Irene was the best.
  • What are your hobbies?
  • A: I like photography, I call myself a semi-amateur photographer, I also enjoy watching my son play football, and taking my dog on walks.
  • What is your ideal vacation?
  • A: Scotland and Ireland, until I can get there, I go to visit my mom in Michigan.
  • When you were in High School, what was your dream job?
  • A: I wanted to become a lawyer, but that changed as I got older
  • If you were to coach a sport, which one would you choose and why?
  • A: I don’t know enough about any sport to coach.
  • What’s your favorite color?
  • A: Pink
  • 5 years from now, do you still see yourself at LHS?
  • A: No, I plan on moving to Michigan.

  • A: Cold
  • Cats or dogs?
  • A: Dogs, all the dogs…except the little rat dogs.

  • A: My high school was smaller, and it was right next to a pumpkin farm where everyone worked.
  • Do you have a favorite student?
  • A: Yes, Tyson Lasker, he is the only one in my journalism class who writes fully and truthfully. *in the writer’s opinion
