Born on October 7th, 2005, Hudson’s passion for football was ignited at an early age, as he spent countless hours tossing around the pigskin in his backyard with friends and family. His journey from those backyard football tosses turned to earning a spot on Lafayette High School’s Varsity Football team. This spot didn’t come easy for Hudson, he had to earn it. He started as a backup JV wide receiver and kicker. He kept working to achieve his dream of playing varsity football by lifting weights and eating a lot. He continued to bulk up, and by his junior year, he made the varsity football team as a backup Punter. However, even when the starting punter got hurt, he didn’t get his chance to shine. After a disappointing ending to the season for the Rams, he met with Head Coach, Coach Linn.

He asked Coach Linn what he needed to do to play and start for this team. Coach Linn replied, “gain 50 pounds and play on the offensive line.” Hudson began eating and lifting repeatedly as much as possible throughout the summer. This is where he fell in love with food and becoming big. He gained 55 lbs. and by his Senior year he weighed 300 pounds. He could finally start, and Coach Linn was excited about this new prospect. He was put at Left Tackle and immediately started to impress the Coaches and team a like. Since his senior season he has picked up offers from Alleghany College, Merchant Marine Academy, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and Maine Maritime Academy. He ultimately decided to commit to the Merchant Marine Academy. He is very excited for his college career and bright future ahead.
