Crumbl Cookie April 17th-22nd Review

Are you excited for Crumbl Cookie to come to Williamsburg? Read on to hear if this weeks cookies were good!

With the Williamsburg Crumbl Cookie opening around the corner, a review of the most recent cookies of the week was needed. I had my friends and I each rate the cookies out of ten. I drove down to the nearest Crumbl Cookies, which is in Hampton, to make a solid review. I would say they had a pretty decent week. It wasn’t the best week of cookies; however, I don’t think they could ever have a bad week. This week Crumbl Cookie had a lineup of six different cookies. The usual chocolate chip cookie and pink sugar cookie were both included on this lineup, as they are ever week. The new four were cotton candy, Oreo birthday cake, peanut butter munch, and caramel shortbread.

All the cookies that were reviewed are pictured above. You can see Twix, Muddy Buddies, cotton candy, and Oreo birthday cake in order.

Caramel shortbread featuring Twix was my favorite cookie of the week. Crumbl Cookie described it as a buttery sugar cookie filled with Twix pieces, topped with a gooey layer of caramel, milk chocolate, and more Twix on top. It was a warm cookie and the caramel on top made it my absolute favorite. I don’t know how they were able to make it taste exactly like a Twix candy bar, but they did it. I decided to give this cookie a perfect ten. It has become one of my all time favorite cookie flavors. Hannah gave the cookie a seven out ten. She enjoyed the cookie, but she is not a big caramel fan and there was a lot of it. Ben gave caramel shortbread an eight out ten. He also liked the cookie, but didn’t think it was perfect.

Peanut butter munch featuring Muddy Buddies was also a great cookie. It was a peanut butter cookie topped with warm chocolate sauce, Muddy Buddies pieces, and extra powered sugar. The cookie was super warm and I really enjoyed the crunchy pieces of Muddy Buddies on top. At first, I gave this cookie a seven out of ten because I was not a fan of how overpowering the chocolate sauce was. However, after the cookie sat at room temperature for a bit, the chocolate sauce cooled down and it easily became an eight. Hannah’s favorite snack is Muddy Buddies, so this was her favorite cookie and she quickly gave it a ten. Ben was not a fan of the peanut butter and found it to be too thick. He still gave the cookie an eight because he really liked the chocolate sauce.

Another solid cookie was birthday cake featuring Oreo. A thick cookie made with Oreo cookie pieces, covered in cake batter cream cheese frosting and topped with more Oreo cookie pieces and rainbow sprinkles. I thought I would enjoy this cookie more than I actually did. I really love Oreo’s and thought this one would be a ten, but I ended up giving it a six. Hannah agreed and also gave it a six. She thought the cookie was too hard and there was not enough frosting to balance it out. However, Ben gave the cookie a nine because he really enjoyed the cookie pieces on top, along with the sprinkles.

Getting the classic pink Crumbl Cookie boxes is a staple when going to the store. These boxes are each filled with four huge cookies!

The last new cookie of the week was cotton candy. This was a fluffy vanilla cookie covered in cotton candy cream cheese frosting with popping candy on top. I don’t know if it was the popping candy or the sweetness of the cookie that made me dislike this cookie. It wasn’t terrible, but the popping candy along with the overpowering sweet taste of cotton candy made me give this cookie a five out of ten. Hannah loves cotton candy and she was most excited for this cookie, but still ended up giving it a seven because of the popping candy. Ben hated this cookie and thought it was one of the worst ones they’ve made. He gave it a three out of ten and he believed he was being generous.

Overall, this was a good week for cookies and I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait for the opening of the Williamsburg one and wish they would stop pushing the opening day back.
