Meet George Piggott!  He is the newest security guard in the building but, not an unfamiliar face as he is the Head Basketball Coach of your Lafayette Rams!

Q- Where are you originally from?

A- I’m originally from Williamsburg, VA and also attended LHS

Q-How long have you been teaching/working, and how long at LHS?

A- I’ve been working for WJCC schools for 16 years as a Coach, Teacher assistant, and security! Currently the Head basketball coach at LHS

Q- Where did you work before Lafayette?

A- I worked at Berkeley Middle School and Jamestown high school prior to coming to LHS

Q- What subject/department do you teach?

A- I don’t teach, I work as a security guard at LHS.

Q- Why did you become a Security Guard?

A-  I became a security guard to help keep our school safe and I love building relationships with the youth to help them out in any way I can.

Q- What do you bring for lunch on a typical day?

A- I typically bring leftovers cooked from the night before.

Q- Do you have any advice for young people today?

A- Advice for the young people is to do things in life with a purpose and meaning! Treat others as you want to be treated!

Q- What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled?

A- My favorite place that I’ve traveled is New Orleans, LA, GREAT FOOD!!!
