The Beautiful Island of Key West
Beautiful blue waters on a gorgeous day in Key West Florida. While I was in Key West I took a boat ride 7 miles off shore to go snorkeling. Our destination was the Florida Keys Reef. During the 1 hour trip on the boat I took a picture and admired the breath taking views that Key West has to offer.
My first day in Key West I wanted to go into the ocean. The resort I was staying at had a pathway to the ocean so I decided to go down there. It was crazy to see how clear the water was, and it was also very warm. The view was gorgeous as always and I loved watching all the jet skis and sailboats go by as well. It was so peaceful and I loved it.
Key West has a history of having wild chickens always roaming around the island. Local residents call them gypsy chickens. Majority of chickens arrived in the 1800's because of Cuban settlers brought the chickens to the island. While on a walk I spotted a group of chickens and decided to snap a picture.
