The Lafayette Rams take a timeout on the mound to make sure all of their signs are correct. The Rams need to make sure that their communication is in cinque so they are able to make the defensive plays during the game.

On Friday May 10th, the Lafayette Rams were set to face rival Jamestown High School. Previously in the season, the Rams were soundly defeated by the Eagles, but Lafayette had their eye on revenge for their second meeting. The match-up on the mound was Geo Rivera for Lafayette and Collin Boll for Jamestown. Throughout the game, the defense was the key for both teams but in the end, the Eagles came out victories on an illegal substitution for the Rams that ended the game. The final score of the game was 2-1 but Lafayette is still 1 game above Jamestown in the VHSL standings.
