The braves are good. Really good. They’re 25-10, first in batting average, second in OPS, fourth in OBS, and first in slugging percentage. They are yet to lose a series this year and the craziest part, they aren’t even at their best. Acuna is having a slow start and is on the IL, Spencer strider just got back in the rotation and had a decent first start. Sean Murphy is still recovering, and Austin Rilley is having a slow start. Once these guys find their rhythm who knows where the Braves will be. This is exactly what Braves fans need. The Braves have suffered injury after injury. They’ve lost Acuna multiple times to injury, Spencer Strider underwent Thommy John, Ozzie Albies has had his history with injurys. They simply can’t catch a break. And despite the Braves making the playoffs every year since 2018, they finished the year below .500 last year and finished behind the Marlins and Mets in the NL East, missing the playoffs by a long shot – yikes.

As I said before Acuna is Back on the IL. He suffered a “grade 1 hamstring strain” and should be back within 2 – 3 weeks. But I think this is good for Acuna. Acuna is having a slow start. He’s batting .252 with only nine RBIS’s and two home runs. If you’ve watched Acuna, you’d know that’s not like him. So, is he having a terrible start? No, he still deserves his spot.

With his injury only being a hamstring strain, it’s really nothing to worry about. This gives Acuna plenty of time to rest and get ready for his return. With a little rest and a break from the spotlight I think Acuna will come back better than before and continue his Acuna ways. On the other hand, Matt Olson has played 806 consecutive games with the Braves as of April 21st, 2026. He almost doubles second place, which belongs to Pete Alanso with 431 consecutive games played. He’s currently batting .308 and is third in homeruns with 13. Matt Olson seems to get better with less rest. Matt Olson has played more games consecutively than I’ve had school days in high school, and I am a senior. Matt Olson is the blueprint of a reliable baseball player. A guy who delivers elite numbers, he’s always there when you need him, he delivers in big situations, has a good attitude, the fans love him, and he hits bombs. What else could you ask for in a baseball player? After the Braves lost Freddie Freeman in 2022, they got Matt Olson. And if you know anything about baseball, you’d know Olson had some big shoes to fill. And he absolutely filled them; he’s an outstanding baseball player who gives Freddie a run for his money for the best first basemen in baseball.
I am definitely looking forward for what the Braves have in store. The whole league is keeping an eye out for them, and for obvious reasons. The Braves are a problem, and the world knows it.
