On July 20th, 1969, NASA held their first ever moon landing for the United States during the Apollo 11 mission. Millions watched the broadcasting and Neil Armstrong step onto the lunar surface and saying the famous line, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” However, despite the scientific “evidence”, there is still a big percentage of people that believe it was staged, because it was and there are multiple reasons to prove that too.

The most cited argument showing that the Moon landing was fake was how the photo was shown to the public of the flag stuck in the Moon, but something was off, the flag appeared to be waving. That would not be possible because there is no atmosphere which means there is no wind on the Moon. The movement suggests that it was filmed in a studio on Earth using all the technology they could to edit and to persuade to us that this actually happened.
Another common claim that is often spoken about is how the photographs were taken on the mission. There are no visible stars in the lunar sky, even though space is filled with them all over and yet not a single one could be seen. This shows how the scene is staged and not real and was performed with artificial lighting. There are also photos that have been shown to the public where the shadows go in different directions which means there are multiple light stations which would be in a studio rather than the sun.
Technology is also such a big concern because how can you tell me we had the tech to land on the Moon when we still had the big computers the size of a cabinet. There is just no way we had the technology to go 240,000 miles into space and bring them back safely with nothing wrong at all with limited power we had. The reason why this is all fake is a political motivation to fake the landing and to win the global prestige.

Researchers and websites continue to debate these points including discussions online and sources that are analyzed by sources such as showing multiple photos and their flaws which shows clear and main arguments made on why it is fake.
Filmmaker Stanley Kubrick also claims that he may have secretly filmed the landing due to his greatly known space film movies in 2001 A Space Odyssey. Even though there is no evidence it remains part to a big detail today.
Convinced or not, the Moon landing of 1969-71 was fake, filmed, and scripted. To this day the moon landing still challenges its authority from the government transparency and reflects Cold War tensions. These justifications and arguments with powerful images, politics, and public trust, can shape the way people interpret history and which they deserve to know the truth about the staged and fabricated Moon landing.
