Today Show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Feb 1st from her home in Tuscan Arizona. She was reported missing after a friend grew concerned after Nancy didn’t show up for church the next morning. After her immediate family checked the home, they called authorities. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says that she was most likely taken in the middle of the night. After blood was found on the porch of her home it was then turned into a kidnapping investigation. At 1:47 am the doorbell camera in front of Nancy’s home was disconnected. while this was the only camera disconnected, authorities noted that there were other cameras around the home, but nothing confirms whether footage was found. At 2:12 am, the camera detected that someone was there, but no video footage has been uncovered. Then at 2:28 am Nancy’s pacemaker disconnected from her phone. There is no person of interest or lead suspect yet. “We’re actively looking at everybody we come across, in this case, everybody,” said the Sherrif. Savannah and other family members posted a video on Wednesday pleading for the captures to bring her home. They stated in the video that they haven’t heard from the culprits directly, but they said they would do whatever it takes to bring their mother home. With the investigation heading into its twelfth day, there is still no sign in a breakthrough anytime soon.
