Meet Mona Violette!

Q- What do you do/teach here? 

A- I am a Special Education teacher and I collaborate with English, Science, History and Math general education teachers.

Q- Why did you come to LHS and how many years have you been here?

A- I have worked here for one year but have taught for 24 years. I moved to Williamsburg to be closer to family and get away from ME winters.

Q- What college did you go to?

A- My undergraduate study was at the University of Maine in Farmington; Master was at University of Southern Maine.

Q- Why did you decide to teach?

A- I decided to become a teacher because I love kids and helping people, also I was a single parent and wanted to have the same vacations as my children.

Q- What do you love about your job?

A- Making relationship with students and helping them achieve their goals.

Q- What is your favorite cheese?

A- Swiss is my favorite cheese.

Q- What’s your favorite color?

A- Purple is my favorite color.

Q- Lefty or Righty?

A- I am right-handed.
