Scottie is a senior at Lafayette High School who loves to run and hangout with her XC friends. She has a gecko named Echo, and is excited to see where life takes her after high school.

Senior runner Brenner Beard finishes strong on his last lap in the 4x8. Being the anchor for the relay, Brenner has a very important responsibility to finish the race fast. Brenner was able to finish the relay over half a lap before the other teams. The boys' 4x8 also qualified for States with their finishing time.

Moments after the gun went off to signal the start of the race, the runners start off strong, trying to pass as many people as they can. It is very important during the race to get to the front of the pack so you don't get left behind. Lafayette runners do this very well, and can be seen in a pack at the front of most of the races.
