Dru is a senior at Lafayette High School and has been there for all four years of his high school career. He runs cross country and track, mainly taking a focus in mid-distance. After Dru graduates, he is looking to study political science in an urban campus environment. He’s also greatly involved in the school, being a part of clubs and honor societies such as National, Math, English, Science, and Latin Honor society, Junior Classical League, Student Council Association, and Model UN.

Sometimes dogs will just chill on their own, unbothered by outside sources. In this case Presley is taking a nap while her owner is doing online school. You can tell by her slightly open eyes that taking the picture woke her up from her peaceful slumber, which she doesn't like. If anything like a squirrel were to run across the roof though, she would up in an instant.

Even when you are laying in bed your companions will want to be with you. Bowie was craving for attention in the middle of an afternoon nap. He always loves to get in extra pets and snuggles when his jealous sister isn't around. Don't think you can get away with just giving one dog attention.

Some dogs have more of a lazy personality. In this picture Presley was asleep and rudely awakened for a nice picture. Out of all the dogs in this photo essay she gives off the most human emotions. She is not afraid to show you if she is annoyed or wants some alone time. While she can be moody, Presley loves to cuddle at night and paces if she doesn't have someone in bed with her.

When you come home and see your beloved canine they are so happy to see you and will look at you with so much love. Maggie was found on the streets when she was taken in by her family. She did not like to be around new people and was very skittish, but her family loves to have people over and eventually Maggie grew out of her shell. You can see that in her happy smile, something you used to never see from her.

On a normal day where not much is happening, dogs tend to sit on the couch with you and just look around. In this case Bowie is looking out at the street, actively paying attention to anything that moves. It's an activity that doesn't sound human like, but his owner likes to keep a close eye on the neighborhood as well.
