Rachel Zegler- What’s to say about her? She’s caused nothing but trouble and drama lately, ever since she was casted for the live-action Snow White. Disney has lost approximately $115 million on the movie. According to IBTimes, Disney has stopped their process in coming out with a live action Tangled, since everything with the Snow-White movie was a bust. The whole issue with Disney right now, is just that- they need to leave classics alone. They think remaking them into live actions is good, but it’s not.
Disney themselves thought it was a good idea in the first place to make older, animated shows and movies into live action ones. Take The Lion King for example- they have made so many new ones, and most of them are live action.
During the production of Snow White, there was a falling out between Zegler and Gal Gadot, who have been arguing over Israeli and Palestinian conflict. Gadot is Jewish and Israeli, so it was conflicting between the both of them, leaving thousands of comments Before that, in 2022, Rachel Zegler made hateful comments about the original Snow-White film, mostly about the prince’s “stalking” of Snow White, and how it the women in the film were “dated.”
In a humorous way of talking about the issues with the Snow-White movie, South Park dedicated a
whole episode to Rachel Zegler’s fail of casting in the film. Along with South Park, the Simpsons did an episode on this issue, and both shows got thousands- perhaps millions of views. Rachel Zegler tried to get producers to ban the episodes because she was over everyone talking about her. So, in a very… very easy conclusion… Rachel Zegler is not to be messed with, because she’s a “delicate flower” and shouldn’t be talked bad about, or she’ll freak out on you. The number of comments she left on social media, calling out people about them talking about how bad she was in Snow White- it’s ridiculous…
