With the summer months approaching, so does the reopening of ThemeParks. In our area specifically, Busch Gardens Williamsburg has opened . With the park being such a main attraction in Williamsburg, it offers many different attractions. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is most known for its roller coasters. The park is also building a new ride called “The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf Revenge”.
Busch Gardens is the perfect place for people who enjoy roller coasters. The park features 10 thrilling coasters, with each one having a different experience to offer. The names of these roller coasters are Apollo’s Chariot, Loch Ness Monster, Griffon, Alpen Geist, Verbolten, Invader, Tempesto, and Pantheon. I personally love all of the roller coasters, but I have my top three.

Coming in at number three is Pantheon. Pantheon is one of Busch Gardens’ newer coasters and it is by far one of the best attractions. This ride features speed launches, huge drops and is also an inverted coaster. I think that this ride offers a great amount of speed and thrill. One thing that is unique about this coaster is that it launches backward and goes straight up, which none of the other attractions do in the park. Coming in at number two, is Griffon. This ride in my opinion has the best drop in the whole park. The drop is 90 degrees straight down at about 71 miles per hour. The only reason that this ride is not my number one is because it is very short. My all-time favorite ride at Busch Gardens is Apollo’s Chariot. I like this ride because it has more than just one big drop but instead, it has multiple drops. The ride is also about two minutes long, so you get a good experience. Those are my top three rides at the park and with the park being back open, everyone will now be able to enjoy those rides.

Bush Gardens has more than just coasters though. They have shows, games, food, and much more. Each section of the park is divided into a different country, and they base the food and the rides on that theme. For example, Italy has Italian food, and one of the rides is called “Escape from Pompei”. The park is a great place to go in the spring or the summer with friends and family. There is something for everyone, and can be a great place because there is just so much to do! Other rides that the park has include bumper cars, swings, carousels, and even water rides! One of the park’s most famous water rides is called the log flume ride or “Le Scoot”.
With the reopening of Bush Gardens and other theme parks, it signifies that summer is coming. Going to Bush Gardens or your local theme park is a great way to kick off your summer and have some fun! From new rides to old rides to games, there is so much that Busch Gardens and other theme parks have to offer. The park season is officially back in!
