Senior Spotlight: Zoe German

Zoe German is a senior at Lafayette High School, who has been very involved and dedicated to her academics and extracurricular school activities in her four years of being a Ram. She is part of the National, English, and Art honor societies, and is vice president of the Art Honor Society. She has participated in  LHS marching band all four years of being at Lafayette and is finishing off her last season of being a marching ram this fall. She has been involved with band and percussion since being in 5th grade at a local elementary school, DJ Montague.

She has been a dedicated and invested student, excelling in academics at Lafayette. When asked about how she has balanced her schoolwork while being involved with band, she said, ”It was hard to balance at first, but I learned how to manage my time better so I wouldn’t get stressed out about everything I was doing. Once I figured that out, it became easier to manage everything.” After sharing her techniques to help her cope with being busy and staying on top of her grades, she shared her favorite parts of being in the marching band. She said, ”The environment is very rewarding and the friendships I have made will be lifelong.” Zoe has thoroughly enjoyed being involved with the Marching Rams and will use the knowledge and skills that she has gained from that throughout the rest of her life.

Zoe German has been an exceptional student at Lafayette High School and has made a positive impact on others through her leadership skills and kind personality. We can’t wait to see what she does with her bright future!
