Meet Mr. Bellamy! He teaches in the science department at LHS. Did you know he wants to be a food blogger?

INTERVIEW

Q–What do you teach here at LHS?

A–I teach General Chemistry and AP Chemistry.

 

Q–Why did you come to LHS and how long have you been here?

A–I started teaching at LHS in 2018 because my wife got a job working at William and Mary.

 

Q–What college did you go to?

A–I went to William and Mary.

 

Q–Why did you decide to teach?

A–I decided that I wanted to be a chemistry teacher in 11th grade when I took  chemistry for the first time. I’ve always had a passion for teaching.

 

Q–What do you love about your job?

A–There is a lot of freedom, and I enjoy helping students.

 

Q–What was your dream job growing up?

A–Before being a teacher I wanted to be a brick-layer/scientist, and my current dream job would be travel and food blogging.

 

Q–If you were stranded on a remote desert island, which 3 other LHS teachers would you choose to be with you?

A–Mrs. Boyer, Mr. Matschke (in IT), and Mr. Ekstrom.
