NBA Playoffs
The NBA Playoffs are here! Tune in to watch greatness from every team in the postseason.
These NBA Playoffs are heating up!! The basketball talent is at an all-time high and the playoffs are a great showcasing of this. The matchups and storylines of these games provide for a historical experience.
Starting in the Western Conference we have rather unexperienced teams at the top and more experienced teams who struggled in the regular season.
Western Conference
1 Denver Nuggets vs. 8 Minnesota Timberwolves
This is the most lopsided series of all, as the Timberwolves barely snuck into the playoffs and are dealing with a multitude of injuries. The Nuggets are the number 1 seed for a reason as their roster is well built top to bottom with back-to-back MVP and once again a candidate Nikola Jokic.
2 Memphis Grizzlies vs 7 Los Angeles Lakers
A prime example of less experienced higher seed vs a very experienced team with injuries in the regular season. The Grizzlies have young talent such as Ja Morant but also have bums like Dillon Brooks. The Lakers have the greatest player of all time, Lebron James, as well as Anthony Davis and “The White Michael Jordan” Austin Reaves.
3 Sacramento Kings vs 6 Golden State Warriors
The Sacramento Kings had a historical regular season with All Star showings from De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis but face a tough matchup against the defending champs. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson will put up a great fight with the help of Jordan Poole.
4 Pheonix Suns vs 5 Los Angeles Clippers
The Pheonix Suns led by Devin Booker and newly acquired Kevin Durant shouldn’t have a problem taking down the injured Clippers. With both Kawahi Leanord and Paul George missing time due to injuries the Clippers are a much more inferior team.
Eastern Conference
1 Milwaukee Bucks vs 8 Miami Heat
The Milwaukee Bucks have arguably the best player in the league Giannis Antetokounmpo and have been dominant in recent years. The Miami Heat are underdogs but have a very good chance to upset the much superior team.
2 Boston Celtics vs 7 Atlanta Hawks
The Boston Celtics driven by dynamic duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown with a well built roster around them should matchup well against the Hawks. The Atlanta Hawks and Trae Young are known for turning it on in the post season.
3 Philadelphia 76ers vs Brooklyn Nets
The 76ers should handle this series in 4 games with MVP Candidate Joel Embiid and former MVP James Harden taking on a depleted Nets team. The Nets traded their star-studded core Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving prior to the post season entering a rebuild.
4 Cleveland Cavaliers vs 5 New York Knicks
The closest matchup in the playoffs with two teams who have struggled in recent years but have had very good regular seasons. Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland of the Cavaliers vs Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks.
