Q–Why did you come to LHS and how many years have been there?
A–I was hired as the Data Entry Specialist for LHS four years ago. I was working at JBB Elementary but was a part time employee. I decided I wanted a full time job and landed the position here at LHS.
Q–What college did you go to?
A–I graduated from Sweet Briar College and I was an art major.
Q–Where are you from originally?
A–I grew up in Norfolk, Va.
Q–What do you love about your job?
A–I feel very fortunate to be working at LHS as the Data Entry Specialist. I am responsible for processing report cards and interims as well as assisting with setting up classes, updating transcripts and all data pertaining to our students. I process reports as requested by administrators, counselors and staff. I am located at the entrance to the counseling office and am able to interact with students and staff which I enjoy. Prior to working for WJCC my job was being a full time mother to my two sons, who are both now in college. They still keep me busy but I enjoy every minute of being their mom. My favorite subject in school was art. I enjoyed painting and drawing. After graduating from college I moved to Washington DC and worked in Human Resources. I continued in that field for 10 years until having my children and becoming a full time mom.
