Q-Where are you from originally?

A-I am originally from Abingdon, VA (SWVA).

Q-Where did you go to college?

A-I attended and played football at Va. Tech and received a BS degree in Physical ED/Health UVA- Wise (dr. Ed certification) Masters degree and coached at UVA.

Q-Why did you become a teacher?

A-Became a teacher/coach because of my father was my head football and track coach.

Q-What subject(s) do you teach?

A-I have taught PE/Health/Dr. Ed/ Director of Drop out/at risk programs/Asst. Athletic Director.

Q-How long have you been teaching, and how long at LHS?

A-This is my 30th year teaching/ coached for 32 years
(LHS-1 year).

Q-What are your hobbies?

A-Hobbies- jogging and anytime at beach OBX.

Q-What’s your favorite joke?

A-JOKE- “You want to hear a dirty joke?” A white horse fell in the mud!

Q-Is teaching your dream job?

A-No- teaching was not my dream job but if you coach you must teach.  My dream job is to coach college or NFL and be their spiritual leader or pastor.
