Last Wednesday Bill O’Reilly was forced to step down from his cable news spot. One of the top rated news hosts William James O’Reilly Jr’s. television career came to an end after the disclosure of sexual harassment allegations. O’Reilly and his team came under fire when, on April 1st, The New York Times released an article reveling that 20th Century Fox had stood by O’Reilly even after they paid five women settlements equaling about $13 million.

These claims of sexual harassment have been going on since 2002. All six of these plaintiffs have worked at fox news. Andrea Mariachis, Rebecca Gomez Diamond, Laurie Dhue, Juliet Huddy, Andrea Trantaros, Wendy Walsh. They all claimed that he made inappropriate comments as well as sexual advances, including inviting them to hotel rooms and making inappropriate phone calls.

All these accusations began to surface soon after the cases surrounding Roger Ailes the former Fox News CEO, in which multiple women including Fox’s own Gretchen Carlson have made complaints that Mr. Ailes had sexually harassed them.
