Autumn has been one of the most adored seasons for many years. It’s the season that has the perfect temperature: not too hot, like summer, and not too cold, like winter. Ever heard of Goldilocks and The Three Bears? Well Autumn is the “perfect porridge” of seasons. This is the time to wear sweaters, sweatpants, hoodies, and jeans without sweating excessively. Even the candle scents are the best.

Autumn has that comfort feeling. Not only is the weather perfect but the holidays and festivities follow suit: Halloween and Thanksgiving. There are pumpkin patches, apple picking options, hay rides, pumpkin carving, baking of seasonal pies, binging of Autumn and Halloween movies, and cozy sweaters.

A common activity done during October is carving pumpkins. These guys are looking great.

Halloween combines spooky with the comfort of the season. Most who love Halloween love it for it selection of movies. The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride, Scream, Nightmare on Elms street, Halloween (Michael Myers), and Sleepy Hollow are just a few adored by fans, perfect for that cozy movie night. Halloween also has the costume search experience for parties and Trick or Treating. People of all ages enjoy dressing up for trick or treating–whether they’re giving out candy or getting it. It’s fun for younger kids to dress up with friends and go house to house for candy. Many houses have some sort of spooky or cute Halloween decoration, and many adults like to wear costumes to get into the spirit of the night. Haunted houses are part of the Halloween holiday adventures too.

Thanksgiving is about giving thanks to your friends and family. A lot of families cook an assortment of food on this day.

Thanksgiving is that day of the year where the coziest, traditional foods are made. These include pumpkin pie, stuffing, turkey, ham, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, casseroles, and much more.  The spread on the table is often determined by regional traditions, as well as family favorites.  This day is all about gratitude for the gifts of life, and sharing memories with friends and family. Along with delicious aromas filling the home, many people enjoy watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. The Parade has been a huge part of American Thanksgivings for over half a century–many consider it to be the beginning of the Christmas season, as well.

Candles are commonly used in most homes. People enjoy buying candles during the Autumn season to enjoy popular scents like pumpkin, cinnamon apple, Sweater Weather, fall crisp air, and mahogany apple. Lighting a candle makes the home feel relaxing and cozy, as well as weaving the air with scents that celebrate the season.

In simple words, Autumn is a season that millions of people are in love with. There’s something about this time of year for everyone to enjoy. With glorious weather, cozy fashion and natural beauty everywhere, how could anyone be surprised that it is so popular?
