There are many different kinds of Easter Traditions that are celebrated across the globe. Egg hunts, carnivals, and egg decorating are just some of the many famous traditions. Over twenty countries celebrate Easter, each having there own special way of showing their Easter spirit.
Egg hunts are probably the most popular Easter tradition. Every Easter, parents will put candy or even sometimes money in the eggs, to make it even more exciting. They will often hide the eggs in the backyard, but sometimes they will hide them inside instead. The kids search for them and afterwards they will sit down and open all their eggs. Sometimes one kid can get more eggs than another, so the parents will often put a limit on how many eggs one can get.
Carnivals is another big Easter tradition. Usually located in bigger cities because they attract crowds, in countries like Bermuda they fly colorful, homemade kites. There is always lots of food, games, and egg decoratin.! In Florence, Italy, they will display fireworks by shooting them up into the air. Sometimes there will be an egg hunt, even though that requires a lot of eggs. Usually there will be some people dressed in costumes. For example, in Finland young kids will dress up as colorful, Easter witches. The great thing about carnivals is that they have something for everyone.

The kit comes with different color dyes, some egg holders, an egg dipper, and some design patterns. This is a great family activity and especially for younger children. Although it can get a bit messy. There is so many different varieties on how to decorate your egg. Just remember to hard boil the egg before decorating!
Finally, another popular tradition is going to church on Easter Sunday and attending a service. The biggest service is typically held in the morning, so that families will have the afternoon to celebrate. But there are services all day long. At the service there will be some songs and discussing Jesus and the sacrifice he made. Afterwards, everyone will usually gather in the common area and say hi to everyone and wish them a happy Easter. Sometimes there will even be some tables with food set out on them. Then everyone will go home and celebrate the special holiday with their loved ones.
Easter is a very special holiday and there are billions of people that celebrate it worldwide. It always falls on a Sunday, sometimes it will be in March or in April. Some of the biggest symbols that represent this holiday are Easter eggs, the Easter bunny, and the Cross.
