Excitement all over the world grows as the Spider-Man makes it way to Theaters!!

Popcorn is the most enjoyable movie snack. Add a new Spider-Man and it’s even better popcorn!

Buttery Movie Theater popcorn, spider webs, and an eager crowd. The perfect assortment for the new Spider-Man: No Way Home movie. Billions of people, especially Marvel fans, have been anticipating the movie’s release. We have been left with knowing Spider-Man’s identity being revealed in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Trailers have been posted and talked about since early September, but as the release date inches closer, it has sparked conversations all over Social Media.

Spider-Man has gotten fans excited for the new movie. New cool suits with new tech will make an appearance.

Spider-Man has had quite a history with Marvel. Many movies have been created. Tobey Maguire’s trilogy, which was released in early 2000s, was very popular and has won a total of 6 awards. People have had a soft spot for his movies. We are introduced to a nerdy, awkward, and shy high school kid named Peter Parker. He was bit by a radio-active spider and gained spider-like powers. He takes on the responsibility of protecting his family and city. As any superhero does, they struggle with balancing everyday life with being a hero. Throughout the trilogy, he battles with Green Goblin, Doctor Otto Octavius, Sandman and Venom.

After Tobey Maguire’s trilogy, it was the end of a Spider-Man era for a while. Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man movie, released in 2012, started the new era of Spider-Man. He only starred in two films, “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” His Peter Parker was bit by a genetically modified spider. In the first movie, he gains spider-like powers and goes out to defeat a reptilian enemy. Two years later his second movie was released in 2014. Peter’s job is now being Spider-Man full time. He swore to protect his city and loved ones from Electro and Green Goblin.

Tom Holland, starring in Spider-Man No Way Home, has hyped how good the movie will be.

The most popular and beloved Spider-Man is Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. He has won over many hearts. Tom Holland’s career has grown as each of his Spider-Man films has grown in popularity.  In the trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter wants to go back to when his identity was secretive. It has been a struggle to live his everyday life with everyone hating him. He goes to Doctor Strange for help. Doctor Strange casts a spell that lead to problems. Villains from other universes have come to Peter’s universe to defeat the one and only Peter Parker. It is Peter’s job to put them all back to their respective universe.

The movie banner looks amazing. You can see four the villains featuring in the movie. Alongside the movie banner, SonyPictures provides a short description for many to read.

The villains are from previous Spider-Man films, such as Tobey Maguire’s or Andrew Garfield’s movies, have been introduced when the first trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home was published. Excitement flourished and theories began to pop up. We have been shown Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, and Lizard are set to show up in the film. Lafayette Highschool student Meaghan Reider is enthused about the introduction of the classic villains. “My favorite villain would probably be Doc Oc. He’s just so cool,” she tells the ledger.

As fans dug for more details about the movie, some have come up with the theory of THREE Spider-Mans. People think that Tobey and Andrew will play as Spider-Man alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Fans pull out tiny details that may support their theory such as supposedly seeing Tobey and Andrew atop scaffolding and “leaked” photos. Some fans while watching Tom watch the final trailer and caught him blurting out, “Where is the-” He shortly cut himself off and fans have been dying to know what he was close to saying. A student at Trigg County Highschool in Kentucky, Lily Smith spoke about the speculations of three Spider-Mans. “There’s a high probability they are coming back,” she said. “It is a Spider-Man multiverse.”

It’s safe to say, though, let’s not get our hopes up…we may not get three Spider-Mans like we wanted.

A fellow Marvel fan, Meaghan Reider, has gotten excited for the release of the movie.

Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon announced tickets were available for purchase on Cyber Monday. The demand for these tickets grew in the matter of hours. The huge demand continued to increase as thousands were rushing to purchase their tickets. Soon many movie theater websites crashed and some orders did not load in. People on Tiktok posted videos showing their anxiousness of the crash. Most movie theaters were sold out of tickets. AMC, Cinemark, and Fandango say “It’s like Avengers: Endgame all over again.”
