Graduation isn’t the end its the beginning of something big.
It’s a bird…
it’s a plane ….
it’s graduation!
Graduation is the one of life’s many joys. After you worked for those 12 years, to finally walk off the stage and say to everyone I made it is the best thing you could do.
If you are a Senior, in one month high school will be in the past and your new journey will begin . It might be college, military, or anything your heart desires; just remember what ever it is, you can say, I graduated from Lafayette high school during one of the hardest times in our lives.
I know how life can knock you down and mess up your journey, but it won’t matter because you made it. You might have lost friends or family, and you might have also gained some, but the thing is: they have helped you on your journey. Their impact, good or bad, influenced you to be the best you can be– and you are the best.
At Lafayette high school graduation is one of the greatest accomplishments you can have. Soon the class of 2021 will be walking across the stage and we will be yelling WE DID IT!!! We have worked so hard to get to this point in our life. We never gave up on our dreams and we made these years of our lives into a great accomplishment .
I remember my first day of school like it was yesterday , I went to Deer Park elementary school and those were some of the best times in life. I even had a elementary graduation, and it was fun but its wasn’t like this one coming up. Then I went to Crittenden middle school and those were some rocky times in life. Middle school prepares you by taking you from coloring in coloring books to writing essays for high school . I went to Warwick high school my first year and it was a rocky start. I was in the IB Program, which is an honors program. Then I transferred to Lafayette high school and this is the place I felt that I fit in the most.
Sometimes I look back on my life and the different schools I went to got me to were I am today. I was in honors classes most of my years of being in school, and because of that I am about to graduate with an advanced diploma. Never let anything or anyone mess you up on your dreams. If I had listened to people I wouldn’t be were I am today.
I’m graduating soon and with that I’m about to go to Morehouse college, an all-Black, all-male college in Atlanta, Georgia. This college focuses on African American men and makes them successful in their journey in life. This is the same college my older brother went to and he just graduated with his doctoral degree.
Graduation is approaching for me as well as many other seniors around the world. Every senior has their own story to tell, but this was mine.
Graduation isn’t the end its the beginning .
