Bachelor Run Down
The recent Bachelor season is spiraling into a drama-filled reality tv-show with many ups and downs.
The Bachelor is a reality TV series about love. It revolves around one bachelor and over 20 girls that are interested in him. At the end of the show the bachelor ends up with his true love.
This is the 25th season of The Bachelor. It aired on January 4, 2021, and features 28-year-old Matt James. He is a real estate broker and charity founder from Raleigh, North Carolina. He is now the first African American Bachelor. The show normally selects a former bachelorette contestant, but this season’s bachelor was connected to The Bachelor world through best friend and NYC roommate, Tyler Cameron.
On The Bachelor there are many involved questions and concerns. One question that Olivia Nice, an avid bachelor watcher, had was about the contestants. Olivia asked, “How much do the contestants get paid?” The style caster website states “How much do Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants get paid? This may come as a surprise to fans, but Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants are not paid. Yes. The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants make nothing for their time on the ABC reality TV shows.”
Another query was answered by Style magazine . Hope Robinson, another bachelor fan, was among those who wondered, “Do producers make people do things or act a certain way on Bachelor/Bachelorette?” The magazine answered,“Nope! They can ask questions and maybe guide you in an answer, but you are completely your own person and responsible for what you say and do.”
This recent Bachelor season, with Matt James, has had many ups and downs. The drama is non-stop. The drama all started with queen Victoria. Victoria was one of the contestants competing for Matt’s heart. She calls herself Queen Victoria and creates all the drama in the house. However, Queen Victoria is the least drama the bachelor nation has had so far. The small drama trickled into huge drama.
Chris Harrison is another huge topic of conversation for bachelor nation. Harrison has hosted the show for two decades, since its 2002 debut. He recently stepped down from his role as host due to a comment he recently made about a contestant. In an interview on “Good Morning America” Harrison spoke out for the first time, stating it was a “a mistake” to defend current “Bachelor” contestant Rachael Kirkconnell’s past racially insensitive behavior. Rachael Kirkconnell is a 24-year-old bachelor contestant, and she is accused of attending an Old South antebellum-themed party—as well as disputed claims that she bullied people in high school for liking Black men. There are still a couple more weeks left of The Bachelor so who knows what else will arise!
The Bachelor, Matt James, is heading into his overnight dates. Matt James only has three relationships remaining this season. Bri Springs, Michelle Young, and Rachael Kirkconnell. Bri Springs scored the first one-on-one date with Matt. She is beautiful, unbelievably sincere, and smart. Michelle Young, another contender, is a former college basketball player. She is spicy and has lots of personality. She is a hard worker, wants to find love, and wants to have a family. Rachel Kirkconnell, as we have previously stated is a little problematic, but she is a 24-year-old American graphic designer from Cumming, Georgia, a suburb outside of Atlanta. She attended Georgia College & State University, where she made the Dean’s List twice. These girls are all fighting for Matt James’ heart and the winner might surprise us all.
Last week it was announced that because of the drama with Chris Harrison, he will not be hosting the next season of The Bachelorette. Since he is not hosing, the role of host will be taken over by Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe. They have been tapped for the next seasons hosting duties.
was a former Bachelorette and is engaged to Zac Clark. Kaitlyn Bristowe was a former contestant on The Bachelor and was on The Bachelorette. She is currently with partner Jason Tartick. These two fierce women will bring excitement and spice to the show. The two women are receiving hate for taking over the role as host, but they have posted several times that they’re not there to replace anyone but to step in and help the show.
