Rowing

A sport with a rich history that is still growing.

Rowing, a sport that uses every muscle in your body to propel the boat across the water. Rowing started off as a form of public transportation, then became prominent in commerce, and in today’s world prominent sport. One of the oldest public rowing clubs is the Leander Club, which was founded in London, England in 1818. Still a featured sport in the Olympic Games with electrifying competitions, and even found in your average gym in the form of the rowing machines there (commonly referred to as Ergs or Ergos by the rowing community).
