Pocahontas State Park XC Invitational
The Lafayette Running Rams take on a challenging course at Pocahontas State Park.
Moments after the gun went off to signal the start of the race, the runners start off strong, trying to pass as many people as they can. It is very important during the race to get to the front of the pack so you don’t get left behind. Lafayette runners do this very well, and can be seen in a pack at the front of most of the races.
The boys Varsity B race lines up to get ready for their race. The competition was looking tough, but the Lafayette runners didn't let that stop them from running a fast race. With a very hilly course, and on a humid day, there weren't may PRs, but all of our runners finished strong.
