Summer is right around the corner and everyone loves to have their legs and arms out. Some of the top summer clothing stores people shop at are Victoria’s Secret, H&M, American Eagle, Ella Moss, J. Crew, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Kate Spade New York, Old Navy, Boden, and Lilly Pulitzer. These stores have good clothing that people would like to shop and wear.

In Victoria’s Secret they don’t just sell undergarments, they sell clothes that people would also buy. Victoria’s Secret is expensive but they always have a sale on their clothes and undergarments. H&M is also an expensive store but their clothing is nice. They have sections in the store for women, teens, little kids and men. H&M also has frequent sales. Their sales online are cheaper than buying the clothes in the store. American Eagle is another expensive store that people really like to shop at. Their jeans are popular though and so are their undergarments. Their summer clothing line is also popular as well. The other 7 stores are popular too, but the main stores that people would shop for their summer clothing are Victoria Secret, H&M and American Eagle.

Some of the popular styles you can wear are shorts with crop tops, body con suits with shorts or skirts, rompers/jumpsuits, bicycle shorts, bralettes, tank tops, and dresses. These are all popular summer styles that you would see people wearing out in the hot weather. LHS Senior Coco Brooks does not like to wear jeans in the summer. She said, “Its uncomfortable and make her legs hot and they need to breath.” Her favorite outfits to wear in the summer are shorts with crop tops, rompers, and dresses, because that’s what she is comfortable in. Other people like to wear rip jeans, crop tops, and sandals if they don’t really like to wear shorts and rompers or dresses. Fit is an essential part of how people decide what to wear, and brings it all down to maximum comfort. Denim on denim is a summer trend. It can look cool or go wrong. Wear shades of denim. Dark denim and light denim gives the outfit contrast. Keep white as your focus color.

Outfits that you wouldn’t wear in the summer would be sweats. Why would you want to wear sweats in the summer when it would make you extra hot?

Once you’ve decided your clothing styles, what about your swimsuits? People love going to the beach and they like to have cute swimsuits. Girls like to wear the bathing suit top showing and having either shorts or their bottoms with it. Also girls like to take LOTS of pictures by the beach to show off their suits to remind them of the day and because they look good. It’s summer so people are going to the beach to enjoy their time.

Other things you shouldn’t wear in the summer are boots. Why would you wear boots in the summer time?  It’s not cold out anymore, so why have them on when it’s 100 degrees outside? Then you’ll see people with sweat shirts or hoodies on like it’s cold out. Don’t wear head to toe denim, keep the pieces to a maximum. Do not wear color on color on color, unless you like doing your own thing. Avoid anything that’s too tight.
