This year has many departures from normal in the world of college baseball. Many of the top schools are being upset by smaller schools. A good example is VMI beating #12 South Carolina and #22 UVA. Another good example is Radford beating Virginia tech and Carolina. This year has many new schools in the top 25, like Texas tech: even though they won the big 12 tournament they usually never make it to the top 25. Another team that’s on the come up would be OSU, they won the college world series in 2007, and they have not done anything else since then. This will be a very interesting season of college baseball.

 College baseball is a different kind of sport. Any team can beat any team. But as for the tournament and the college World Series,  the teams will be #12 South Carolina because they have a strong pitching staff and a pretty good offence to go along with it. Another favorite will be #3 LSU, because they have the best hitting and defense in the nation. As long as they can get passed the defending champs #1 Florida, they will make it.

This year will be a crazy but interesting year in college baseball.its exciting to see what happens this year, and where all these teams end up. Who knows? Maybe a small school will make it again!
