A busy day on a popular bike trail New York City when all of a sudden people see a red pickup truck racing towards them.

October 31, 2017 the news channels were itching to release a new story:  a 29 year-old man drove a rented pickup truck down a busy bike trail near the hallowed ground of the World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York.

Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov claims he committed this crime in the name of ISIS. Tragically, he succeeded in killing 8 people and injuring 29. Authorities found a note in the truck indicating the ISIS affiliation of the driver. After crashing the truck into a school bus, he exited the pickup truck, and the police shot him in the abdomen.

Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov was born in the central Asian nation of Uzbekistan and came to the US in 2010, two law enforcement sources told CNN. He was married on March 25, 2013  in Cuyhoga Falls, Ohio to another Uzbek, Nozima Odilova.  He was 25 and she was 19. Neither had been married before.
