During the thrilling halftime show last Sunday, fans immediately started to notice that Rihanna had a small baby bump. Most fans immediately looked on twitter to find out if the rumors are true. After a quick search, fans were ecstatic after finding out about the new pregnancy.

Critics were skeptical about the show considering the inappropriate dancing from the backup dancers, lack of movement from Rihanna, and the fact there were no special guests. Even though most watching loved the show, she was preforming alone, there were some of her songs that could’ve been performed with others that might bring more publicity to the performance. Although, social media ate up the newfound information by posting on all different social media platforms. Rihanna got the publicity she deserved after not preforming live in over 5 years.

Social media determined that this was her first pregnancy announcement. Did Rihanna use the announcement of her new child to get more attention? Some critics say that she was using it for more publicity than if she was not pregnant.

Fans were dying to know the father when most realized she was still dating A$AP Rocky. His real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers. She has let the children take his last name. The 34-year-old was born in New York and grew up in Harlem, New York City but his father is Rihanna’s country man, from Barbados in the Caribbean Islands. He is an American Rapper who has very big hits as well as Rihanna. They are not married but some fans think that is coming very soon although, in a recent interview Rihanna said “I always thought it would be marriage first, then a baby, but who the f*** says it has to be that way? I’m certainly not gonna let that get in the way of me being a mom.”

After only having her first child, Noah Mayers, in May 2022, observers of the super bowl half-time show were beyond surprised when they noticed the pregnancy. In a recent interview, Rihanna said she and A$AP Rocky do eventually want a big family. Which explains why there wasn’t much time in between the pregnancies. Rihanna has been covered from the public eye, considering she hadn’t shown her first son on any social media platforms till he was almost 7 months old. She had posted an adorable tik tok with her son and there hasn’t been much publicity since that point.

Rihanna plans to raise her child in complete privacy in her “mega-mansion” in Beverly Hills,  Los Angeles, California. Rihanna now worth 1.7 billion dollars is being smart about her financial status and beginning to buy properties around her current house to increase seclusion.

With the birth soon she continues to stay private, but some are wondering if she will ever preform live again.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s second child is due in early summer. She is being very private about her new child so the gender wont be revealed to the public until the birth. All Rihanna desires is a healthy baby and a happy family.
