The whole world was waiting for this game with clenched teeth and extreme excitement. The gamer world waited 9 years for the release of Cyberpunk 2077. People would talk among friends in school and at work. Twitter and YouTube blew up with anticipation. People of all ages where fully ready to play this so called masterpiece. People thought this could be the best game of all time. Too bad it was one of the biggest disappointments in gaming history. A complete Technical Nightmare.

The developers of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED, have gotten a lot horrible reviews and disappointed fans. The Company has given fans false promises like going to be a open world games, but fans soon found out that this was a lie. They promised it would be an open world from the start of your playthrough, but they limited most areas off until you got to a certain part in the game. They also promised it to be available on PC and console. It was available for both but you couldn’t run the game on Last-gen consoles like Ps4 and Xbox One. The AI would freeze and sometimes even be invisible to the player. It was filled with game breaking bugs. It was so bad that Sony took it off their digital store. CD Projekt RED had to think of a way to fix this. They listened to the anger and hatred toward them and began working on fixing the many bugs and making it more available to Last-gen consoles.

Then they came up with their saving grace, “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners”. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a very popular anime on Netflix based off the Cyberpunk 2077 world. It has exploded on all platforms. There are memes everywhere, especially on Tiktok. It has struck many with plenty of emotion and it has brought back the hype of the cyberpunk world. It is a great mood setter for the whole cyberpunk world and how sad it has become.

The characters in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners all have their own unique personalities and and very creative character designs. The character development, relationships, and emotion it has in just 10 episodes is so impressive. It has been said by many watchers that they have cried watching Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The developers have even added references from the anime all over the Cyberpunk 2077 world. The fans really do love seeing all of the little details they are putting into this game. After getting all of this hype and revenue from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners doing so well, CD Projekt RED has been trying really hard to make the dream of many fans come true. They have fixed a lot of the technical problems and Last-gen consoles can run the game now. The game has truly been given a new life.
