Have you ever been looking for some new music to listen to?

Well, you’re in luck. Here’s a list of albums to give a listen to if you are looking for new types of music.

Trench, Twenty One Pilots

A view of 21 pilots concert from the front pit.

Trench is Twenty One Pilots 5th studio album and in my top 2 from them has a lot of big radio hits and some hits that never made it to the radio the best song from when I saw them live were off this album and Blurryface. Maybe not their most listened-to album, a little different from their normal sound, a little more grungy, but one of their best overall in my opinion.

Hozier (expanded), Hozier

Hozier is a weird type of music, very close to folk/church music but it diffidently is not. Hozier is an Irish singer/song-writer and has a certain way of singing as well as an over-arching story about the life of a made up character in his album and great lyricism.

Without fear, Dermot Kennedy

Dermont Kennedy’s soulful performance at one of his concerts.

His first studio album and another one of my most recommended albums. Dermot is an Irish singer/song-writer known for voice. His lyrics are emotional, this album full of meaningful songs

How To Be A Human Being, Glass animals

There is not much I can say about this album other than to beg you to listen to it. My favorite band’s sophomore album,  I stayed up till mid night to listen to for the first time when it dropped. Glass Animals is a British psychedelic pop band. Their sound is very unique and this album is a masterpiece.

The Protomen, The Protomen

The first album from the underground rock band The Protomen is the first part to a 2 album story about taking down their made-up world’s government and the societal ways.  Oh, and there are robots, too. If you enjoy this album you should listen to the second one in the story as well.
