COVID-19 has affected our lives greatly in the challenges that we have had to face mentally and physically. Important events have had to be canceled such as weddings, vacations, and many more things. Students all over the world were experiencing changed school routines. Instead of coming in school they would log into a zoom call every morning and learn. Protocols were created that people must wear masks into all indoor places, and some sports even required masks to play in the beginning. Everything was going downhill. When was tis going to end? When were we going to get back to the “normal” life again?

Ppeople were very skeptical about the vaccines when they came out. They did a lot of research on the vaccines and continue to do so. Those who take the vaccine trust that it is going to have a positive affect on them and the world. When people are thinking bout getting the COVID vaccine and booster, they are only doubting the vaccine that everyone is getting not the person injecting it.

Could a nurse administer a false vaccine? It happened in Germany not too long ago.

According to News 10 a nurse gave people fake vaccines and it didn’t seem like she was going to inform anyone about it. She admitted to giving false vaccines to 6 people but 8,557 people may have been affected. Many of the people were above the age of 70, and for them this could be life threatening. Nobody knows if they have received the vaccine or if they have received a dose of saline (a mixture of salt and water), which is what the nurse distributed. She claims that she accidently broke a vial of the vaccine and didn’t want to inform her boss, so she quickly thought of a solution. Anyone who many have been affected by this is recommended to take an extra dose of the vaccine as soon as possible.

Many people are wondering how she was able to administer false vaccines without anyone knowing.  According to NPR, Lower Saxony health official “the nurse in question had access to the vaccines because she was “‘responsible for the preparation of vaccines and the preparation of syringes during her working hours in the vaccination center,’ according to CNN.”

The 40-year-old nurse is facing consequences such as being fired, but nothing else has occurred. Police in Germany are investigating to the fullest extent, in particular examining her motive. People in Germany are pretty upset… so upset her name has yet to be announced in order to ensure her safety.

Overall, this is a rough time to not take things seriously and it takes trust to get a vaccine that is brand new. The fact that there could be fake administrations of the vaccines could, unfortunately, lead to more and more people deciding not to get them.
