Alivia: Definitely positive. Even though it was spoiled for me, having all three Peter Parkers in one film together was really cool.

Jaelyn: Which Spider-Man movie was your favorite and why? Did actors/quality of production/plot affect your decision?

Alivia: My favorite Spider-Man movie is No way Home because it combined all three Peter Parkers and the characters from each movie. Yes the actors and plot affect my decision.

Jaelyn: How well did this movie transition from the last movie Spider-Man: Far From Home?

Alivia: I think it transitioned really well. No Way Home started immediately after Far from Home ended which was a good idea because it wasn’t confusing.

Jaelyn: How do you feel regarding Tom Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker? Are there any other actors that you would consider suitable for the role?

Alivia:  I think Tom Holland does a great job of portraying Peter Parker. You can tell he loves what he does and is enthusiastic about playing this role. No, I don’t think there are any other actors that would be suitable for the role.

Jaelyn: Everyone knows that Zendaya was a notable child actress, starring in Shake-It-Up, K.C. Undercover, and many other Disney movies. Do you think her transition from her days as a child star to a bona fide adult actress was successful?

Alivia: Definitely. I think Zendaya is one of the few childhood actors who has stayed away from drugs and/or other conditions when compared to other Disney actors. She continues to hold herself and others to a high respect.

Jaelyn: Did the movie spark any emotion within you when Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker successfully caught MJ which was a reflection of Gwen Stacy’s death in The Amazing Spider-Man 2?

Alivia: Yes. A big part of Andrew Garfield’s character throughout the Amazing Spiderman series was his inability to save Gwen. I’m really glad the director decided to have him save Zendaya because it gave him closure and helped him forgive himself.

Jaelyn: Did you notice a production value difference between Sony and Disney? If so, what was it? If no, why?

Alivia: No I did not notice a change in production value. I think all of the Spiderman movies have a great production value.

Jaelyn: Other than the famous MJ save scene, did you notice any other parallels between this movie and any past Spider-Man movies?

Alivia: One main similarity was the death of someone close to Peter. In the original Spiderman movie and the one with Andrew Garfield, they both lost their Uncle Ben. Even though Tom Holland’s movie didn’t have that character, he still lost someone equally as important to him, Aunt May.

Jaelyn: Are you looking forward to any more Spider-Man movies in the future and why? How many more movies do you hope that they’ll make? Or are you satisfied with the series ending now?

Alivia: I hope there are more Spiderman movies in the future because I love their plots. Im not sure if they will make any more though since they erased Peter Parker from everyone’s memory. I am not satisfied with the series ending now. I wish we had more closure.

Jaelyn: One character who doesn’t get as much credit as they’re due is Ned, Peter Parker’s nerdy bestfriend portrayed by Jacob Batalon. What is your opinion on him? How well does he play Ned? Do you know him from anything other than Spider-Man?

Alivia: I think Jacob Batalon is another example of a great actor who respects himself and others. I think he does a great job of playing Ned. I don’t know him from anything other than Spiderman.

Jaelyn: One emotional scene in the movie involved Peter Parker’s aunt’s death. Do you think that Aunt May’s death was beneficial to the film? Will you miss her in any future movies? Do you think her role as Peter’s guardian will be replaced and by who?

Alivia: I think Aunt May’s death was beneficial because it had to happen in order for Peter to grow and develop. I will miss her in the future movies if there are any. I’m sure Peter will get a new guardian if there are more films, probably Happy.

Jaelyn: The film featured Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange. Was Dr. Strange’s role in the movie well thought out? Do you think he should’ve been featured more or less?

Alivia: I think his role was important. I think he should have been added to the plot a little bit more, but it was good.

Jaelyn: Many old faces showed up as well. Which bad guy from old Spider-Man movies was your favorite and why? Would you want any of their powers? Do you hope that they’ll be featured in any future movies?

Alivia: One of my favorite villains was Dr. Octavius. I think in this film he had really good character development. I would not want his powers. I think it would be nice if they were in any of the future movies.

Jaelyn: Are there any other superheroes that you wished were involved in the movie? If yes, who, why, and how big of a role would you want for them?

Alivia: I always thought it would be cool if Marvel did a movie incorporating DC characters.

Jaelyn: The ending involved Dr. Strange erasing the knowledge that Spider-Man was Peter Parker from everyone’s minds, including MJ’s and Ned’s which resulted in them forgetting about Peter entirely. Was this ending satisfactory to you? Why or why not?

Alivia: The ending was satisfactory to me, but I wish they could’ve ended it a different way.

Clearly, Spider-Man has found its way into the hearts of many fans and will continue to do so for as long as it lasts.
