Indoor Track Preview

Indoor track season is off and running with a whole host of new faces and talent. Team enrollment is surprisingly high even with the cross country runners out recovering from an exciting weekend at States and the football players still defending their undefeated record. Senior, Devon Underwood expresses his thoughts and goals for this season, saying, “There are a lot of new kids this year and I believe we are going to do well. I hope to make it to the state meet and place in the top two as a team.”

Coach Sarah, the women’s coach, is very enthusiastic about the incoming girls. I was offering commentary as the team was headed outside for a hard workout, she said, “There are many new faces and they all look promising.”
