Without a doubt, Marvel has one of the highest ticket sales at the box office. According to Boxmojo.com, Marvel’s “Avengers”  had the third highest opening weekend sales, making $207,438,708 in ticket sales.  The fourth and fifth highest opening weekend sales go to Marvel’s Avengers “Age of Ultron,” at $191,271,109; while in fifth Captain America: “Civil War” sold $179,139,142.

Every year marvel comes out with a new cinematic masterpiece that appeals to everyone who loves comedy, action, and adventure rolled into one. Their “Guardians of the Galaxy” was a ground breaking hybrid of Sci-fi and comedic anti-hero writing. This is only one example of how Marvel takes the traditional to a whole new level.  Numbered among their numerous takes on old stories, the following sequels will be joining them: “Guardians of the Galaxy 2”, “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Black Panther,” “Avengers Infinity War Part 1,” “Captain Marvel,” “Inhumans” and “Avengers Infinity War Part 2.”

In “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” the crew is struggling to stay together while also trying to find out who Peter Quill’s father is, with some entertaining new faces added to the old favorites: Mantis, Nebula, Baby Groot and Peter’s father.

In “Thor: Ragnarok” we find our hero the Mighty Thor imprisoned on theother side of the universe. He is forced to get into a deadly gladiatorial

contest where one of his opponents is the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent a powerful entity, named Hela, from destroying his home world, Asgard.

“The Black Panther” continues from “Captain

America Civil War.” The Black Panther, T’Challa, is a new ruler of an advanced civilization in Africa called Wakanda. T’Challa must fight defend his village from being torn apart by his enemies from both outside and within the country.

While the plot for “Avengers Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2” is unknown, multiple tantalizing hints have been dropped in various Marvel films—keep your eyes open for the “easter eggs” during the credits!

“Captain Marvel” will bring a new superhero to the pantheon of greats in the Marvel-verse, this time one

of the growing number of female champions on their roster, and doubtless include enough adventure to establish her firmly in the hearts of movie-goers.
